  • twilight good or bad?

One thing I have noticed recently is that there is a lot of hate being thrown on Breaking Dawn. Im not really sure why this movie is getting more hate than the other movies but its really annoying. I'm a twihard loud and proud and its a little weird reading all these posts that start out with "Im a twi-hard" and then go into how much they hate the movie or how they think that little girls should stay far away from twilight but run to the hunger games. Now I personally have not read the hunger games so this is not a post where I will diss the books because I honestly dont know much about them. My question is, what is so wrong with the Twilight saga books and movies? I mean yes you have Bella who in some parts of the books and movies seems a bit pathetic but come on, she is a lot better than all these other girls that are sleeping around before they are even old enough to drive. Twilight may not be the most amazing movies ever and I am by no means saying that littl girls should use any of the characters as role models but I also dont think that the movies and books are nearly as bad as people are trying to make them seem. If you really look into the movies and books, A. good always wins. B. There is no sex before marriage. C. it teaches girls to fight for what they love and to protect those they love no matter what. In Twilight Bella is willing to risk her own life not once but twice for her family. First going back home to trick James (bad vampire) so that he will leave her father alone and then again when she gets to phoneix and risks her life to go to her old ballet studio because she belives that James has captured her mother. I think people get so wrapped up in the Edward and Bella relationship, that they completely overlook all of the other relationships and good atributes of the books. So lovelies, what do you think? Is Twilight really as bad as others are trying to make it seem?

  • Breaking Dawn part 1 review

    Dont worry no spoilers! :)

I saw breaking dawn part 1 at midnight and let me just say it was amazing. For those of us that have read the books I agree, there was a lot left out but the movie was so fast paced and true to the book that we can easily over look that little fact. The wedding dress was identical to how it was described in the book and the wedding was beautiful. The "baby makin'" scenes were done very tastfully but they definitley kept you entertained. The birthing scene and the pregnancy scenes leading up to the birthing scene were amazing. They were as true to the book as they could be and the CGI was very well done. I am a huge twihard and have seen all of the movies multiple times and not only was this movie the most well made of all the movies it was also the most true to the book. I was amazed to be honest. I expected it to be really good but I was really worried about how they would do the sex scenes and birthing scene without making it uncomfortable to watch with my mother who has seen all of the movies with me. Not only have the actors grown as actors and become so much more believeable, they have also grown into their characters and easily made this movie the most believeable yet. For those people that have not read the books, like my best friend that went with me last night, breaking dawn was done in a way that everyone could understand. It didnt make you feel like you were missing something by not reading the books. I am very excited to see what they do with breaking dawn part 2. Cheers to the directors and actors for making a phenominal film.

So lovelies do you agree with my review? Have you seen the film yet?

  • Top 5 ways to cheer yourself up

How do you cheer yourself up when you feel like your entire world is crashing down around you? Recently a lot has happened in my life and I got to the point where I didnt feel like doing anything because I was so depressed and I finally looked in the mirror one day and thought, "This is not me! what am I doing?" So here are my top 5 ways to move on even when you feel like everything is going wrong.

1.) take a relaxing bubble bath or like I did, take a warm bath using your favorite lush products, and spend some quiet time just thinking about what it is that has you so stressed  and how you plan to fix it.

2.) if its a boy (like in my case) forget him. I promise it will be hard. But delete his number, unfriend him on facebook, and then spend time watching all of your favorite hot guy movies:) You wont forget him right away but it will help when you can realize that even though you dont want there to be someone better, there really is.

3.) go through your closet and donate or sell all of the clothes that you have been meaning to get rid of or that have anything to do with what is stressing you out. Even though you wont want to get rid of the memories, getting rid of some of them will defintely help you to move on.

4.) Get your best friends together and go shopping. restock your closet with all those clothes that you've been meaning to buy but never found the time to. Go buy that super short dress youve been trying to convince yourself to buy or those awesome pumps that youve been eyeing for months.

5.) then go write a blog about it to help other girls that are going through the same thing as you.

So lovelies, what do you do to cheer you up? My motto for this fall is, "New school year, New season, New me!" What is your motto?

  • My life is a movie??

Have you ever gone to see a movie and sat there thinking the entire time, "Wow this is the story of my life?" well I never had until I saw something borrowed and sadly it was like watching my love life flash before my eyes. Minus the  lawyer job, living in NYC and the age. The funny thing is, I have dark hair and bangs (like rachel) and Aiden and the Dex look like they could be brothers.

Movie plot: (thanks to the back of my DVD case.) Rachel is a generous and loyal pal to her engaged best friend Darcy. But after celebrating her 30th birthday, perpetual good girl Rachel unexpectedly ends up in the arms of Dex, the guys shes had a crush on since law school.. and who happens to be Darcys fiance. In the frantic weeks leading up to Darcys wedding, Rachel finds herself caught between her longtime friendship with Darcy and the prospect of losing the love of her life.

My love life: I met Aiden my sophomore year of high school (im now a sophomore in college) we were best friends for a year and then started to date. Well we fell in love and then life got in the way and we broke up. Well our senior year became really close again and started talking but we were both taken. Well this summer the day before my birthday (may 20) we started talking and realized that we felt the same way about each other. Problem? I was engaged. Well we ended up acting on those feelings for 3 months and then I finally.

The day I went to tell him that I broke things off with Scott I learned that he was now taken. Im not sure if I even have the right to be mad seeing as I was taken but was practically dating him at the same time.. I feel terrible about what I did and Scott and I are still very close friends. He understood my feelings for Aiden and accepted that. Aiden keeps acting like nothing has changed (minus the us pratcially dating) and he keeps telling me how much he misses me, I am out of state visiting family, and then I see things on facebook about how much fun he and his girlfriend are having.

Well lovelies, waht would you do if this happened to you?

  • My 5 summer show obsessions

During the summer one of my favorite things to do is to sit around in my PJs watching my favorite shows to cool off after a long day. Here are my 5 summer show obsessions.

    5. Burn notice- I'm not sure what it is about this show but i think its great. It's a little corny but you just cant not have a good time while watching this show.

    4. The nine lives of Chloe King- I love this show. When it first premired i wasnt really sold but the more I watch this show the more I love it. Its a blast to watch and the characters are really reliable.

    3. Covert Affairs- I think this show is a blast. I love the characters and Annie Walker is the definition of a kick ass woman. This is one of those shows that you can't just watch one episode.

    2. White Collar- This show has everything that a good crime show needs. Its serious and fun all at the same time. Matt Bomer's character, Neil is hot and smart. He makes you think while at the same time making you laugh. This show is just amazing in every way.

    1. Pretty little liars- This show is incredible. Everyone has hear of pretty little liars and this show seems to only get better and more interesting with each episode. I read the books and although the show doesnt follow the books exactly its still a blast to watch and its fun to try and guess what will happen next.

Out of all of the shows running on TV this summer, what shows are you lovelies obsessed with?
